Highland females conceive promptly, calve very easily and breed back again readily on native forage. Bulls are aggressive and durable breeders with some bulls breeding at thirteen months previous. Highland cows are noted for remaining hugely devoted and protecting moms. They deliver prosperous milk enabling for continuous fat gain inside the calf.
